Below is information for members to read before voting at the CBBC 2026 AGM to be held on 9th August 2026.
Voting is limited to one vote per Ordinary Financial Membership, we have five nominations for the Committee.

CBBC AGM 2026 - Nominations for Committee
Get to know your Committee members.
As nomination open, financial members can vote For, Against or Abstain for each of the following volunteer participants.
Below is a brief description about each nominated person.
- Darren Stanbridge– [Restanding Commodore] Darren, along with his family, have been long term members of the club. Darren has served as a Committee member for 7 years, including Vice Commodore for 1 year. and Commodore for 3 years.
- Brian O’Flaherty– [Restanding Treasurer] Brian joined the club with his wife Tania in 2002 and has been a committee member 2006-2011. Brian designed and has maintained the club’s website since its inauguration in 2006 and has held the role of Treasurer since 2020.
- Trevor Anderson – Margaret and I have been members of the Clayton Boat Club since November 2022. We own a Stabicraft motor boat and joined to engage with like-minded boating enthusiasts. Since then and building on a life-time interest in sailing, I have acquired a Flying Fifteen which, with my crew Belinda Hawker, I race in both the Sprint and Red Top Bay racing seasons, the Rat Race and participate in the Kingsley weekend. We also sailed in the Australian Nationals in 2026 as a CBBC member. I have been a member of the Boating/Racing Sub-Committee in 2025/26 and have been a part of the team of scorers for the 2025/26 season and a regular attendee of the Hamburger nights, Sunday Barbecues and Whale Cup evenings.I’m particularly interested in helping the club engage with young people to encourage them to learn and pursue sailing as a sport.
- Rob Edgar – Rob has been a member of the club since 1998 and has served as Commodore for 3 terms and has been awarded Life-Membership in 2022. Rob has also been in charge of Grounds and Maintenance and general club upgrades since joining the club.
- Daryl Evans – Daryl and his wife, Melissa have been members of the CBBC since early 2022. Along with their two sons (Matthew & Harry), have enjoyed many holidays growing up at Clayton Bay, having owned a holiday house on Shoreline Drive since 2006. Daryl has worked in global shipping & logistics for over 40 years, based in Adelaide based, he has held various Management roles for the past 30+ years, He has an MBA with the Australian Maritime College. Daryl has enjoyed crewing with CBBC members on the Milang-Goolwa Race and looks forward to more sailing over the coming years.
